HMNYC is an interactive installation that’s inspired by the unique personalities of New Yorkers. The window display is a 46 ft long black skyline of New York City with a white border that makes the skyline come forward at night. New York areas are displayed in red and white on the skyline and recognizable buildings are accentuated.
Passersby could leave their mark by taking a picture at the photo booth inside the H&M store, Tweeting a message with the hashtag “#HMNYC” or creating a stylish photo and place it on Flickr with the tag “#HMNYC”. All the photos and Tweets were displayed on the embedded monitors of the skyline.
